This is a fantastic venue. Great cuisine! You have to try the sea bass! Wonderful staff and a profesional and personal service by the owners who are lovely people. Visited May 2023 and was very impressed! Will be back to Lucrino and Ostriaroa again. Can't wait!
The location is unique and requires parking on the main road. Do not forget to feed the meter and csr license plate is required. After, you walk down the steps through a tunnel under the local train train to the beach. Absolutely stunning location. Ostriaria only serves seafood. The chef/ owner is a character and upfront with whst is available and fresh. We gave him full control of the meal and he delivered. The wine was Greca di Tufo, a local wine made in Avellino and quite unique . I know this wine well and own several bottles from different vintners. The wine reminds me if a fruity table white from other regions, but with a distinct taste induced by the specific grape and volcanic soil. Love this with seafood. Service was great until busy hour, but remained attentive throughout. The sea urchin, mussels and clam dishes were incredible and the fried baccala (Cod) balls incredible. Will be certainly going back.

Marque and I cannot stop talking about this place from the proprietor, Lucio, to the fantastic wait staff, Antonio… it’s a family owned restaurant. They are absolutely amazing. Their dog, Vato (I am misspelling for sure) loved on us like he had always known us! Came in for a back rub and made us feel like family! I have to admit for the 5+ years we’ve lived here. We don’t spend a whole lot of time in busy Pozzuoli, but we will be coming to this restaurant on a regular basis! For the record, I want to say that I had the best Bacala I’ve had since I’ve been here. Marque said that his Spaghetti Vongole was at the top of his list as well! The Falanga wine was from Campi Flegrei! Lucia’s business card is attached. Use the cell! The outside fits 35-45 people! In a few months, it will be perfect out there! Please visit this place! Lucio manages a spectacular ristorante da mare! If not fresh, he won’t buy or sell—he’ll scratch it off the menu. Some of the best spigola in all of Italy! Very accommodating for friends and family. Worth the effort to park and walk under the tracks. You won’t be disappointed!!
